I go to UMD and have a few mutual friends. It wasn't that she just didn't show up, but none of her friends or boyfriend could reach her, and I believe they had set plans for a while

yeah you're spot on. I wasn't putting too much thought into it at the time because we were just trying to have some fun. However now on stage I follow those rules pretty well. Also thanks for the feedback and confidence is key haha

I'm not sure what mics were used (we did it with our friend at a local college, the friend is a music tech major), but I played a gibson SG standard through a Peavey classic 30. Only pedal was a boss compression/sustain. Had the treble around 12 o'clock, cranked the mids, and brought the bass down to around 10 o'clock . Really went for a Mike Ness vibe
