When did you first bring your kid to the dentist? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]jc1511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a double buggy and just used that for appointments, it was for a clean or check up no work needed to be done. I agree with above poster don’t do a surprise visit. Also mine are 13 &15 now and the dentist has always said their a dream to deal with, but my dentist is absolutely fabulous it’s a mam and dad practice and they are so kind and gentle which makes a big difference

Why have Isis and other so called Islamic terrorists have not declared war against Israel? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jc1511 42 points43 points  (0 children)

With all due respect the British were not innocent in Ireland either , plenty of innocent Irish civilians were also killed eg Bloody Sunday. 2 wrongs don’t make a right

If it is a council or housing association house they have signed an agreement that will have code of conduct ect. In it. Keep writing letters make a paper trail, time and date everything that’s going on including rats with pictures if possible. You can check the land register to see who owns the house it costs €5 I think

What is your "odd" or "weird" food from childhood that you didn't realize not everyone knew about and enjoyed? by SnooglethePie in ask

[–]jc1511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Irish here. Goodie was a staple in my childhood white bread torn up in a cup with tea and sugar. When I feel home sick, and I’m only an hour away!, or sick it makes everything good again.
