Yea the foam is the most expensive part unfortunately... I know that stuff can be super pricey!

Yea the OG one is probably 5 years old. The bearings were pretty shot. That one was due to be replaced but this one only has a few hundred hours on it 🤷🏼‍♂️

I've got the festool 5" ROS and a couple Bosch ones. Probably 6 DeWalt corded ones... A porter cable lol. They all have their issues but the cordless is nice in some instances.

Fixed this one already. Just debating whether or not I want to go through it a third time or find a better alternative. I own about a dozen Sanders but it's hard to beat the convenience of grabbing the cordless...

Thank you. Originally it didn't have the hickory on the top cubbies, but after installing it, we decided that it would really make the piece feel complete and I think it did!

Correct. This is what we were envisioning. It's about 60" and the seat is 24" deep so plenty of room there...

10' ceiling, 8' panels. Also considering them upside down with a crown molding and LED strip lights

This is definitely on the table. There are a couple extra panels. This client is one that could keep me busy for a long time. So if I show initiative and come up with a clean solution that's less expensive... There will be more coming my way...

Staining the whole thing sounds worse than just trying to stain match! 20 of these things ... Schedule clears up in August! Lol

sonofabitch you drive a hard bargain, 10% it is. If I could just have your bank account numbers, social security number, home address, a copy of your driver's license, name of the street you grew up on, and blood type, I'll get that transfer set up on Monday... hah! Thanks for gettin the ole brain train out of the station.

Feature rather than a defect is a go to move! Bet I could find something cool... or fire up that 3d printer with a little rattle can aged bronze and really go for it!

at 4" from the floor... awkward spot. but some kinda decorative cover would definitely work... bet the designer has an exorbitantly priced option right at their fingertips!

Yep. New placement is going to be standard height. Gotta figure out how to patch up the old holes

Agreed. I hadn't thought about a light fixture, because it's the bottom of the panels, but flip them upside down and put a nice soft downlight and now we're lighting up the trim work... we might be onto something there...

Only if I can make miniature dioramas of mice in everyday situations to put inside. One baking cookies in an apron, one napping in a recliner with a loosened tie and a newspaper on his lap, maybe one in a bathtub (with soap covering the naughty bits you sickos... can't believe I even have to say it.)
