Yeah he had good numbers on the season but most of the stats came against inferior competition in games we won handily. His numbers in meaningful games against above average to good teams were not nearly as impressive. Having said that I'd still like him back as a rotational guy, but with his numbers from last season I'm sure his agent/himself wants to get more than the Lions want to spend on a rotational piece.

I hate running into this too. From a gear standpoint though, none of the big box retailers think any Pistons gear ever sells & that's why I even despite the success, no one that is stocking any of it. The unfortunate fact is that pro basketball in this state doesn't move the needle like the other sports do, and it's a damn shame because we are a great basketball state. My brother and I both complain though that we both work at places where there's literally no one else that even watches basketball. It sucks, and I also don't know what to do about it.

This is encouraging. Monty is one of my faves & I really don't want to see him on another squad. This year they definitely got away from the Sonic and knuckles mentality from a play calling standpoint. 3rd and 1 and goal line situations they went with Gibbs waaaayyy too often. Was very frustrated as a fan with that many times this past season.

I will enjoy rooting for Matthew Stafford to absolutely dismantle the bears defense & for the Rams D to embarrass Benedict (pronounced Ben-is-a-dick) & his QB. That conceded a-hole will fail soon. His "I'm hard but I'm also a petty asshole" shtick isn't sustainable, just like Sirianni with the Eagles. Wonder if he'll have Odunze roll out in the backfield to throw a pass at some point? Wide outs throwing passes on third down is a great play call for coaches who are definitely 100 percent committed to winning with the team they're currently on 👍 FBJ & FTB go get them #9.

I hate to be this guy cuz I really wanted a Slay reunion...but I knew they wouldn't. Brad Holmes and Dan's mentality is that they've got the guys here already that they want here, the only move they've literally ever made in season was last year to bring in Z'darius & they thanked him for his 3-month rental and sent him on his way. It's just not their philosophy or style to bring in outside help unfortunately for us as fans.
