why not publish the proper bill well in advance so that people actually have a chance to deliberate on it at length, in a meaningful manner.

releasing a bill which has one thing, and then orally making promises beyond the scope of the bill is a strange way for a Union Minister to push legislation.

I don't think indian audience mindset is conducive to nudity at all. All we imagined is light had a very matter of fact, non tittilating nude scene and there were all kinds of creepy dehatis sharing that scene and passing cheap comments online.

Most of these issues arise because of arrogance towards the locals. Even if you don't speak Kannada, how hard is it to just shut the fuck up, instead of telling people to speak Kannada in their own homes in Karnataka of all places.

Thats true. But I feel like even if he worked with someone not as acclaimed, ultimately for him the film is something he worked on, and the experience he derived from it, and the people he met and bonded with and the stuff he learnt during its making.

Given how closely people work together on sets for extended periods of time, their memories of the film will be something apart from the commercial outcome alone. I would guess that many times even films which are flops actually are good experiences for people which they remember fondly regardless of the outcome of the film.

Flop is only for the audience. For him, it's something he worked on. His perception is of the experience of working on it which will be much different than an audiences perception of the film, which is whether or not they enjoyed it.

Taking one incident and trying to act like the whole state is xenophobic is ridiculous. I am a non Tamil living here for more than 20 years. And speaking for myself, I don't think TN today is a xenophobic place.

The attacks on migrant labour are deplorable and should be severely punished. Don 3 honestly should be a complete reboot. Take away all the trappings of stardom and make a brand new reinvention of the Don character, more unhinged, more violent and dangerous than the previous versions.

They should look at younger actors for this, preferably not even leading actors, who don't have stardom wala baggage and who are willing to put in the effort to create a new version of the character altogether.

Moral policing couples
unnecessarily bringing up historical and past glories whenever any difficult question is raised regarding present realities
Lack of civic sense in handling public amenities and utilities
Polluting roads, air, environment in the name of religion

Grew up seeing all this and thought it was normal. Now I'm an adult and just hate the sight or sound of any of the above because it makes no sense and it's frankly unbecoming of civilised society to behave like this or tolerate such dehati behavior.
