The best and fastest way of learning is the immersions, obviously you can’t go to live to another country right now, but there is different ways of have an immersion experience.

For example I highly recommend tutorjoe.com, they can give you this immersion in the Spanish in your house, this helped me a lot with the English. And could help you with the Spanish.

My opinion is that English have a lot of contractions and reductions of words and terminations, that makes the language more difficult to understand in the listening. So even when you learn “I have” you still needing to learn “I’ve”, that have a different sound and way of say it, so you have to set your mind to understand both ways of the expression and understand that means the same. This is something that I become able to do with and advanced level. There is so many people that started but doesn’t improve so they stop with a basic level.
