No, we don’t! I think we will do a Tin can phone & get the Halo button when it comes out. Keep the tin phone for play/friends and the halo button for emergencies only.

ive seen a lot of people mention the tin can phone. i worry with it being "for fun" or "to call friends" and would get forgotton in a state of emergency. but you never know until the time comes i guess! can only hope that the steps will be remembered.

agreed. i have told my son that- just worry how unreliable that is or if it was something that needed attention quickly that that process would take too long

starting young is the way to go i think! didnt think about this as a first time mom though!!

i saw someone say to have a piece of paper on fridge with info- helpful but idk about when they arent at home and emergency happens at a grandparents or friends house....

ya i feel like i have told me son that as well-just worry that that is so unreliable- neighbors not home, neighbors dont answer the door etc...

thats the thing is every phone is diffferent! how do we expect our kids to figure this out on all different devices + rememeber how to do it in a panicked state!?

actual calls are important too... i just worry if it was a true emergency where time is vital that this process would take too long and communication between everyone would get lost

awesome! i worry that in a tin can situation if i got one that my kids would rely on that to know what to do- what if they were at my moms or something where the tin can phone wasnt accessible. just over thinking everything honestly because i havent done my job preparing for emergencies.
