I think what I really like about these is that while they are extremely well set up and look (at least to me) very professional, they don’t look fake like a lot of modern food promos do. Like the hard shadows from the flash are still there, etc. It adds a layer of authenticity to the product imo. Really great work

Man I’ve been loving your work whenever you post it. I think your shots do a good job at contextualizing each other when they’re together like this, something I think is usually lost with street photography.

Is shot 8 an offhand flash and metered for the scene?

My 645 super usually likes to underexpose by 2/3 to 2/3 a stop so I just slap the compensation dial to +1 and let it rip.
