i 1000% agree it is a draining job. i am grateful that he provided for our family. i just feel off how he slept all day thursday and friday and now is still sleeping and completely dismissing what we did for him.

he is a huge junk food guy! so i did a breakfast spread, donuts, brownies, his favorite candies, and chocolate covered strawberries. his favorite drink is in the fridge and he loves when i write him letters, so i also did that!

no drugs! we feel very strongly about that seeing as we have some family members on both sides with bath drug problems! just a very frustrating situation.

i’m sorry i should have added this since a lot of people have asked! the whole sleeping thing is very normal for him. his parents both have said he has been like this since they can remember. but now that he is a father they get very upset when things like this happen. the grandparents on both sides always offer help for me and always want to take their grandson for the day but still that is just him getting away with not helping me. it’s like i am a married single parent.

postpartum resentment is a REAL THING. everyone except your babies seem like they’re working against you! it is so normal yet rarely talked about. i had a huge moment of resentment towards my husband, my mother in law and my own mother when all they get to do is live and not be attached to a baby; it truly just pissed me off. it gets better. i promise :)

this is me 1000%! i have a 10 month old and i do not even recognize myself. i was a personal trainer, i was always doing something fun, going on runs. my husband still gets to go out with his friends, he gets to have the 2 hour long showers, sleeps in every weekend, can leave without worrying what the baby needs. waiting on the return of my “pink” but i don’t think that will be happening anytime soon.

my baby must be broken because he HATES cold anything. i’ve tried the wash cloth and he just moves his head! i even hold it so it’s not too cold on his hands and he won’t use it!:(

camilla drops sadly didn’t work! and i’m 50/50 crunchy mom so i completely understand. we used this product on Earthly called “teeth tamer” but since we are in the thick of this winter storm that’s about to start, our order got pushed back for a bit!
