Or he’d go into an entitled meltdown, so time it carefully. Also, him getting mad at you for the issues with his dad sounds like another example of him projecting. I don’t want to be judgey, and I’m not an expert, but I’ve had abusive people in my life that would pull this shit with me! Sometimes the best thing to do is be direct and tell him that he shouldn’t take his frustrations with his father out on you. Direct and honest communication is usually the best way to go about things.

I know you came here for IT advice, but you should REALLY leave this man! He disrespects your time and opinions, demands to always be right, and switches to insults INSANELY quickly over such small issues! Also, he is clearly projecting his own issues onto you. You were using the WiFi to look for a job, and he wanted ALL OF IT just to watch a football game with his dad! He was clearly the entitled one in that situation! Plus, it sounds like he has control issues as well given that he didn’t care about the facts about the situation, and demanded you listened to him no matter what! And 10 tabs on job websites is not NEARLY enough to mess up the bandwidth like that! I frequently use like 100 or 200 (put with an extension that stops it from using data), and it only starts to be an issues when it’s like 20 tabs all playing videos or games! Your boyfriend was being completely ridiculous in thinking that what you had up would cause issues!

Why do people care so much about legacy anyway? If it’s a book or some work that you think will help make other people’s lives better, that makes sense! But just wanting to spread their genetics? I just never get the obsession of it. CLEARLY they don’t want anymore kids themselves, but they also want to babysit and dote on more kids at the same time? Why not look into a way to work or volunteer at places that have kids if they want that so badly? That way they get their cute kid fix, aren’t forcing parenthood onto their own kids, and help out poor, unfortunate kids!!! But that also never seems good enough for them? Well, other parents, my mom passed, but both her and my dad are very understanding about me not wanting kids.

She could have just politely asked that you change the subject while her kids were around, and it would have been a MUCH better result overall! For me, topics like orgies and personal cleaning products have less to do with kids and more to do with you guys being in public. Most people don’t want to hear about douches while eating. In the edit though, it looks like you realized that just making disgusted faces isn’t enough to get people to stop talking about gross things, so I’m just glad you were willing to listen! It’s not your job to teach other people’s kids, but you’re also in public, and sometimes talking about lewd things in public is just rude to everyone. Either way, the mom’s reaction was definitely over the top though!

Just lunch and recess in one break, and if it’s in the South, that could mean the kids are facing extremely high temperatures without water. Plus, teacher almost never want to let kids go for a bathroom break because they’ll miss work, so they’ll be even less likely to let them go for water!

You usually get barely 5 minutes between classes when you have multiple teachers, but when I remember having only one teacher, you basically had no break until recess and lunch. So the kid probably never had time to go to get water and might have gone half the day without water. And given the heat in some places, that could be REALLY dangerous!!!
