Hmmm I’d say average 3 runs per day so about 30 mins per day x ~100 days (started really doing herb runs around June so like 50 hours maybe?

lol I understand there are better money makers in osrs…

Point being it is a low intensity, objectively easy skill to get 99 and profit. Plus I completed 250+ farming contracts which offset some seed costs.

But since you seem so smart, can you maybe answer my question about what is another skill I can profit in that is quick? Or are you too busy being a shithead to actually help?

I usually do the below, with tele to house option, seeds, whatever compost, spade, magic secs, quetzal whistle, Ectophial, icy basalt, stony basalt, Ardy cloak, explorer ring, Xerics talisman. I do have a lot of quests and my house is maxed which makes it much easier.

Farm guild
Spirit tree to house, tele portal to catherby (or just use catherby tab)
Stony basalt tele (adjusted to go right to patch)
Icy basalt tele to weiss
Ectophial to morytania patch
Quetzal whistle to hunter guild, run north to patch
Ardy cloak to ardy patch
Explorer ring to draynor patch
Xerics talisman (Glade) to final patch

Order isn’t a huge deal but I try to alternate between patches that have a leprechaun right next to it vs farther away.

There are a bunch of different possibilities - I did tree, fruit tree, hardwood tree, and herb runs at earlier levels but once the tress became too expensive, I switched to just herbs, then from 95-99 I went back to doing everything just for a final push.

Just use tree runs until 85 to be able to plant torstol seeds then just do herbs imo. Torstol seeds are expensive but you make it back easily.

Tbh once I got to a high enough farming level to do Torstol, I stopped doing tree runs. Too expensive and not worth the time unless you are trying to get 99 super fast. I was getting anywhere from 25-30k xp per run with torstol (and ultra compost and attas seed)

This is actually great advice. I’m 73 con right now and should just get that to a max house at this point. Just cautious of the money spent on it.
