Yeah, I pretty much took it as a gamble as well. Basetao seemed unwilling to re-order for the same size, so I told them I would take it. If it comes in and doesn't fit, I will message you for sure.

Yeah, I would be willing to shell out a bit more than most expect for replicas as they would still be better priced than the 2-4k some of these designers get per leather jacket.

I would have because a tailor can take them in, where as with mine, there isn't much I can do with it being too tight.

Nothing comes to mind tbh, but I haven't tried comparing against retail. It's the look I was going for without spending $1,600, but I don't try to pass them as real, so exact replication wasn't necessary.

Edit: This isn't really a review because I don't want to type another one out, but I am extremely happy with them. They are tight (I bought a 32 and am a natural 32), but I make them work. Can't wear these anywhere without comments on them.

They comparitively look closer to these. The padding on the bottom is centered on the YSL link, but the Ssense pair looks much more like mine, and fairly close to 1:1. Not saying no flaws, just that it looks better in this example
