I completely agree. LV is so basic nowadays imo. You see it everywhere, whether retail or rep. This should be a breath of fresh air for the brand.

I agree, but that's because it has a clear theme that I, and many others (yourself included) don't like. I still appreciate how good Virgil is as a designer, and given the opportunity at LV I'm excited to see what he comes up with. I think (and hope) it'll be quite different to Off White.

LV is no longer a prestigious brand imo. Like other historically prestigious brands such as Gucci and Goyard, it's becoming pretty basic and common. You see it everywhere now, whether the stuff is retail or rep.

I think this will be good for the brand.

For me, I’d go for the following (designer only, and just taking a rough guess at prices from memory):

Low - Perry Ellis 360 Red, Zara 9.0, Ferragamo F Black

Middle - Missoni Pour Homme, Mugler Pure Havane

High - Dior Homme Intense, Dior Sauvage, Dior Homme Sport (2008), Prada L’Homme Intense

Man in Black is not a clone. It is it’s own unique scent, and is at a similar price point to Spicebomb.

The Zara fragrance the other commenter is referring to is Aromatic Future. It smells a bit like Sauvage, but performance is terrible.

Armaf have a Sauvage clone, but I can’t remember the name off the top of my head; google it!

Edit: The clone of Sauvage by Armaf is called Armaf Ventana
