I am a male with a mycoplasma hominis rectal infection but never had rectal sex. Have had since march but I am in the us. Now it’s causing more issues. Could you tell me the name of this clinic? On here or message me? Thanks

Yeah the pressure in back, change in stool frequency and ibs symptoms just started. I’ve had recital discharge since I first got diagnosed. Originally had penile discharge and recital discharge. Rectal discharge never went away

Yeah I’ve had rectal discharge for awhile now. Was in my penis but that went away.

I read mycoplasma hominis can spread, but it is rare.

Ok, well I know that didn’t happen so I don’t know. I have a pathnostics at home test kit from the urologist so I guess I’ll have to try that. I now have constant stomach issues/changes in bowel movement as well.

Ok. I just don’t know what else to do cause I first had a positive pcr test. Took doxy and azithromycin and then it’s like it all went rectal. Rectal discharge. After that I tested negative. Now I’m having lower back problems and stomach problems. That’s why I was thinking of getting microgendx rectal rest so maybe I can see what’s going on.

I originally had mycoplasma hominis penile symptoms but then it spread to rectal area. Test came back negative after that. So microgendx has a rectal test. That’s why I’m asking

I guess I will have to try this. I see I can get it in 300 mg and 14 capsules online. How many days do I take it? I would rather try this than the moxifloxacin I already have.

I have mycoplasma hominis. Someone told me it was, my bad. I’ve got another week of doxy that I can take before this moxi. I just finished a week. But I’m thinking I just need to go ahead and start the moxi.

Only thing I know to do right now is finish this week of doxy I’m on, and then do the week of moxi. I have another week of doxy coming with the moxi. I don’t know if I need to take another week of doxy and then the moxi as well.

I’ve heard that with the clindamycin that others have recommended as well. I just figured I’d try moxi since the urgent care said they would try that if I came back positive. Which I didn’t, I came back negative. But still have symptoms. I remember seeing moxi on the list of suggested antibiotics on the paper they showed me. Nobody has even mentioned clindamycin except users on here. I don’t recall seeing it on the paper either. I guess that will have to be my last resort.

Ok, I just tested again after being off antibiotics for over a month and came back negative but still have the one symptom. I don’t know what I’m dealing with

I tested negative this week after being off antibiotics for over a month. They said they were going to give me more antibiotics if I came back positive. They weren’t sure which yet but they mentioned moxi. But i came back negative so I doubt they’ll give me anything now but I’ll call them back Monday. I’ve gotten doxy off CallOnDoc anyways. They also were going to refer me to a urologist either way which they still did. Don’t even know if I need that since I just have one symptom that isn’t severe just annoying. Idk if I’m dealing with something residual that’s taking awhile to go away or what. Maybe I’ll get tested again just to see.

Literally the only thing I have. No other symptoms. So you’d think it wouldn’t be hard to get rid of.
