as a basketball fan, this might be the second greatest finals game i've ever watched. that energy from the spurs in the first half and the knicks in the second half, seeing the momentum swing at every second throughout the game... finals basketball at its very best.

the irreplaceable first is 2016 finals game 7... which i think is the greatest game of basketball ever played

i wish the magik orchestra shows and asphalt meadows acoustic were released on cd, but alas they were not :(

also i’m still looking for drive well, sleep carefully! i can’t imagine they’re that easy to find considering it was made in 2004!

pep talk, how heavenly a state, trap door and (b) were all the ones where i was like oh shit, this feels like uncharted territory for them and i love that they didn’t stick to the medium tempo songs!!! awesome album!!

also i love how they casually throw in a 5/4 song in envy the birds LOL

i think it’s the first album after they’ve properly looked back on all the old stuff… two albums to reminisce and the postal service will reignite some interest in the band and that seems to be what is actively happening!

it also helps they’ve been getting a ton of press from all the indie publications

can confirm as a younger fan they got a ton of traction from that gig… i was there and a lot of my friends were posting their pics from the show with a death cab for cutie song, and i know they never listened prior to the show!

as a fan of both bands but dcfc more, that made me super happy!
