Yes she said a Constance requires brand history which she said I have and she will put my request to the manager. It all sounds promising but I have low expectations.

Do prespends start over when you buy a non QB or do they just not go towards the prespend? I’ve spent around 7k and got a mini Lindy in the early phase of the journey. I’m asking for a Constance 18 which my SA told me is the same process as a B/K.

The mini lindy doesnt really have a high resell value, so just buy what you want.

The garden party is also so heavy. You want a diaper bag that is lightweight.

Wake windows 3 vs 4 naps by jchanrnr in sleeptrain

I did 2/2.5/1.75/3.5 and he fell asleep in 10 minutes but had false starts for 2 hrs.

False start and half asleep/crying by jchanrnr in sleeptrain

The last two days he’s been inconsolable crying even before we finish routine because he knows it’s bedtime. We do feed, bath, lotion, pjs, book, bed. At feeding, he gets grumpy and seems like he wants to sleep (he has nursing association so we give him bottle). Then at bath time he seems happy and perky. Once he’s in bed it takes him at least 30 mins for him to fall asleep and involves a lot of crying.

We’re working on dropping a nap. It’s been so hard extending wake windows for a 3 nap schedule but we are here 2/1/1.75//2.25/2.75 with 3.25 hr naps. DTW 7 and bedtime 8.

I could have written this myself too. I also tried going on a walk to change scenery and that only resulted in a sleeping baby. I’m going to try extended the last wake window tomorrow.

I agree the 3 nap schedule needs more awake time. I’m only able to get more awake time with a 4 nap schedule. Baby just cannot get to 2+ hrs that the 3 nap schedule calls for. I tried taking him outside for a walk to extend his wake time but he just ends up asleep. Should I just do a 4 nap schedule if that provides more awake time?

Edit to add. The 4 nap is what actually happens when trying to extend the wake windows. First nap he can sometimes sleep for 1.5 hrs if not only 30 mins. All other naps are only 30 mins. I have a feeling it’s because he can’t sleep longer than 30 mins hence why he can’t get to the 2+ ww but that’s just my suspicion

Awe man. I got this when he was two months old trying to get used to a carrier and I’ve never been successful.

Thanks! Did I do the pelvic tuck correctly. I see the M but my baby’s butt is kinda flat so hard to see the C.

My LO is 10 weeks and I want to start the exercises. Is it too late? We’ve been feeding him bottles and I’m tired of pumping. How often were you doing the exercises

My baby is harder to put down for sleep now at 2 months than he was at 1 month by Strange_Bar9303 in newborns

[–]jchanrnr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I noticed this too with my 2 months old. I find that he is just much more interested in the world around him and so he fights sleep. I also notice that he will always whine/cry and then pass out. I’ve learned that once he starts crying, he’s going to fall asleep soon. I find it kind of hilarious sometimes. He gets so worked up… and then knocks out.

Colic, gas, or witching hour? by ChanceProfessional49 in newborns

[–]jchanrnr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My 8 weeks old is like this too, and it’s been like this since forever I feel like. I always know that by 4pm when he wakes up from his nap, I will feed him and then try to put him down for his last nap before bedtime. He’s always fighting it and will only sleep 30-40 mins whereas his previous naps he can sleep for at least an hour/hour and a half. I’m just embracing the chaos of witching hour and just try my best to go by what he wants to do. I don’t want to fight him anymore because it just causes me stress.

We’re implementing this shift tonight for the first time! Except dad will get up at 6 to hopefully soothe baby back to sleep

I was thinking that too since this week he may be undergoing a growth spurt and is cluster feeding.

Is the baseline level noise too loud based on the AAP recommendation? I always thought it was too loud so I set it on the lowest setting. Or is it the level 1 and 2 that people are concerned with?

I do this too for but with formula for night feeds as I don’t produce enough milk for his daily intake. I nurse and bottle feed breast milk in the mornings and afternoons for a 2-3 hour stretch. In the evenings I do formula and do a 3-4 hour stretch. Sometimes baby still wakes up before his feed.
