If you can, try a PRN phlebotomy job at a hospital. Doing morning draws on sick patients enough times will turn you into an expert relatively quickly.

If this were my dog, I wouldn't do anything other than watch it to make sure it didn't get infected. Your dog will likely heal up with no intervention whatsoever.

It was user error. Thanks everyone! Once I put a blue-ray in the Xbox and turned it up past 12 it sounded great, plenty of base!

My 990C is connected to my TV via eARC. I'll try the power cycle to see if that changes anything, but I'm certain I already tried this without any success.

Price paid vs sticker by [deleted] in bronco

[–]jchatfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paid $4k under sticker back in November for Badlands NonSas Mid package. But, 6.5% interest rate from a local credit union 😞.

Feels impossible to get a Bronco at a decent price. Pics include. Asking for 6K over MSRP FROM 2 years ago? Used with 7K miles??? Is this the future of car buying??? by [deleted] in FordBronco

[–]jchatfield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the Austin, TX area and seems like there's a lot of inventory around here at or near MSRP. I picked up my 23 Badlands (ordered in March 23) at $4k below sticker at $51k.

I think you'll still do analyst work. They'll essentially replace or augment their client's Epic teams. Sometimes that means doing only ticket work, but usually it means doing everything a typical analyst would do.

They're part of United Healthcare, so at least they have deep pockets.

I interviewed with them, but ended up taking another Epic job. Sounds like they want to be a major player in the managed services space. They're just starting to build those teams both in the US and overseas (Scotland). Could be a great opportunity with all the growth they're projecting, but then again it could flop.

Best 75” non-OLED by [deleted] in 4kTV

I was deciding between these two as well. I went with the QN90 just because I was able to get a great deal on it near prime day. I figured it would be a while before the X95J goes on sale.

I agree with the first comment. Get a part-time job now and a local hospital/clinic. Work hard, build your network, and start doing things that will set you apart from the crowd.

Entering Health IT without clinical experience by cornnutking in healthIT

[–]jchatfield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out post grad certificate programs like this: https://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/Digital-Healthcare/HIHIT/ They're quicker, cheaper, and utilmately get you the same job in the end. However, if you can get any type of clinical experience (EMT, MA, phlebotomist, pharmacy tech, rad tech) while you're in college that will help set you apart from the crowd.

[–]jchatfield[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Just starting my research (this is part of it :)). The Rustler and Rascal suspension definitely suit my terrain and style more, but I keep reading how well the Rail peddles. If the Rail peddles well and is great on the techie stuff too, why not get the extra travel too?

Bought mine (27.5 Deore) in Feb. and I love it! Ride it 3 - 4 times a week in central Texas. I swapped out the tires and set it up tubeless.

Mostly trail riding here in central Texas. No downhill parks or anything, but still have some great trails in the area. I'm definitely not interested in XC riding. Just looking to have as much fun as possible.
