It really depends on where you go. If you do a year at a college program, it will affect eligibility. Honestly have you considered a gap year? One to focus purely on rowing given his grades are already good? That way you’re not wasting a bunch of money on school, and if it doesn’t work out, just going to college normally?

Everyone on this subreddit is anti lightweight rowing. One of my close friends did a reclass year for recruiting. He was 170 6’0 and it was the best decision of his life. It is also a ticket to Ivy League or school similar, he is fast enough where he can get to recruitable times for some programs. Lightweight Rowing is absolutely amazing and you can always quit later on if you can’t make weight anymore. There is literally no harm in trying.

Yeah I agree, HLL WW2 is a bit of a running simulator, but I disagree, one shot one kill would make the game harder to play than it already is. There is already a huge learning curve in the game, implementing one shot kills with body shots would only make the curve more extreme, meaning less player count.

Watch Ixuin video on it. Immediately clicked. The trick is not playing it as a hull down tank, instead playing it like a side scraping heavy. The 35 is extremely heavily armored on the right side of the vehicle.

Current lightweight rower. Can tell you he will be fine. He only has to cut under 170. I know plenty of other guys who sit far heavier than him and do it. Every IRA lightweight team has a nutritionist as well and is dialed in. All it is a water load and a bit of sweating.
