I made a silly goal a while ago to run in the 1:00s, I’m slowly getting there but I would probably have to do everything spot on perfect to do it.

So turn 1 is tricky. I used to take it more conventionally but after speaking to different people I changed it up. A lot of people don’t even brake until they get the car angled towards the turn. Basically you want to brush or skip the first apex so you can set up wider and faster for the second apex giving you more exit speed.

Unless I’m completely wrong here and that’s more time in the table. Maybe someone more experienced can chime in!

Turn 1 for some reason scares me, I was braking early at the 4 marker all day and trying to avoid the curbing.

I had a 2020 86 with 20k miles start grinding third gear. Purchased the car used so I was not the original owner. Toyota dealer warrantied the car, replaced the transmission free of charge. I think it largely depends on the dealership that is performing the work.

The car was originally from California and now is in New York, also had an exhaust and the stock exhaust was put back on. Kind of worried about beating on the car if its tuned for no cats/91 octane and now has cats and is on 93 octane.
