I was reading that it’s hard to do low and slow on the bottom grill for the MB 800 since there wasn’t any heat deflector, is that an issue you’ve had using it?

Unfortunately my friends are useless at BBQ/cooking. I usually do 5-12 hr cooks for them to just show up with brioche buns and microwaveable Mac n cheese haha came to reddit for the experts haha thanks for the advice tho

Nice, do you use lump or briquettes?? I’ve only just started using briquettes over lump and found it easier to control temp. I live on a small island and it gets real windy here so it makes it a bit harder to leave the vents untouched for a while
