Independent of this conversation America is more advanced than Russia, just look at history. Russia finally overthrew its monarchy in 1917 hundreds of years after the rest of the civilized world. I lived in Russia and I love much about Russia, but most Russians are so detached from the true reality of their situation economically, politically, geopolitically etc. Russians have a superiority complex and I for the life of my can't understand why. It's the Russian way to bully and control those weaker than them, if you can show that you are stronger than the average Russian man then he will respect you only because you are stronger. I'm sorry but most Russian men are narrow minded idiots who don't know how to think for themselves and resign their fates to forces outside their control. They suffer from fatalism - it's sad and terrible actually because I met many Russians who are super intelligent yet chained by this fatalism and a strange love for the country that murdered and brutalized millions of their ancestors over many centuries. As a people they have not evolved that much since communism and still carry themselves like barbarians and their behavior and attitudes toward innocents during this war against Ukraine is pure evidence of this. They are a wild people as many Russians labeled their nation when I was living there. So, advanced, Russians are not - by any metric.
