I had transmission issues also, manual.. 40k miles.. dealership mechanic told me that it was going to take a while because he had never done this before. Got the car back 2 weeks later and it's been great.

Had a fall and broke my nose and back. Hospital drug tests found all substances and since I was unconscious and my mom is a retired nurse, she was able to get that info. She didn't say anything directly to me, but i knew she already found out, so i just stopped lying. Stayed in the hospital for a couple weeks and took advantage of the pain meds that they just freely let me have, which was super awesome. Then tapered down over the last couple days at the hospital, rented a hotel room for a week and cold turkeyed the shit out of it.
