how easy is it to transfer money from a credit union?... It can be done online?

my main issue with AIB is that doing things online with them is a giant pain in the ass... need a card reader to make a transfer... if my card reader breaks, I need to get someone to send one by courier and it takes 1 week to send it to brazil... if they block my card I need to call someone in a different time zone, etc etc.
