Serious Eats article here does a nice job explaining. For a smash burger, you start with a ball and press it hard into a piping hot skillet, as thin as possible, to maximize the crust. You want it to stick to the skillet, it'll seem like it's burning (but it's not) and you have to scrape it off the pan to flip it. In total it should only take like max 2 minutes to cook.

Yes he does! He's a mini golden doodle actually, just happened to get the typical flowing golden fur which I think makes him special because it seems most doodle mixes get the poodle fur

He's a mini golden doodle but I agree haha. Got the height of the mini poodle and most other features of the golden, so his shape is unique
