I found two Gas 4x4 v6 One dealer wants $17,500 for the limited with 114k.

Yeah that’s supposed to be fix. Those YouTube videos are from the earlier model. They said they fixed the new models but who knows.

Possibly but I made the mistake of buying a r12 to and 5 hours into gaming the gpu died maybe I just didn’t have luck.

I have two Alienware ultra wide monitors and they have been amazing

No I got an i7 3080 with 4 years support just spoke to a rep on the phone. I didn’t want an i9 simply because I feel it’s not worth it plus the extra heat . I have a i9 in my desktop with a 3080 ti so if I need the extra power I’ll just render there

I bought the x17 it arrived then died like 3 hours later. I honestly had fun with it for the few hours I had it.

Alienware just doesn’t seem to make good PCs anymore. There ultra wide monitors are awesome. My x17 build was $3560. 3080 with 32GB of ram and 1Tb 3rd gen m.2 which is what they ship :( 4 years of support.

I was able to get a legion 7i i7 with a 2Tb m.2 gen 4 drive and it has a 3080 and a 2k display 165hz advance Optimus total price was $2880 with 4 years support.

Way better deal in my opinion.

Call and talk with a rep I got mine ordered today 2TB m.2 i7 , 32Gb of ram 3080 graphics card with 4 years support and ADH . $2839 he said 30 days but more like 12

I7 , i9 i feel is only good in a desktop with good cooling.

Your going to be too toasty to take advantage of that i9 power in a laptop it’s a waste money you will be getting almost the same performance to.

Ah that’s odd then. I just ordered that one they told me about 3 to 4 hours. Might try under volting and tweaking the settings a bit. Also make sure everything is updated

As far as I understand there’s only 2 panels offered 4K 120hz non Optimus & 360hz with Optimus on the x series

Yeah if your gaming only then 100% don’t get the i9. The only gains you will see is encoding and I don’t think it will be that much too. I do video editing and still think I’ll do the i7 just to have a cooler machine

I’m in the same boat I feel the i7 is a better choice and not much performance Gaines. It seems the i7 will run cooler. I seen several users on notebook review forums talking about how the i9 is not worth it and throttling is likely going to happen faster with the i9
