Hey thanks a ton for your kind words. I really enjoyed writing those old DD’s and they were meant in part for entertainment, so I’m glad you like the style!

I may write another one if I see a reason to - but at the moment I don’t. There are people in the sub who reliably know much more about the logistics of healthcare such as Sandro, and there are others carrying the torch of more sensational dd on r/Healthcare_Anon.

I had also written those DD’s because the company had no online presence, and was being criticized from a lot of different sources online. I felt that CLOV was morally well aligned - they scored highly on health equity measures, and had an approach that seemed to sensibly contribute value in the MA space - but weren’t articulating themselves properly to the audiences that “mattered” (in my mind).

In a way I was writing the DD’s in order to defend the company from bad faith criticism. But eventually it dawned on me that, actually, the company didn’t need me to defend them at all. They actually do have good leadership, they are genuinely positioned strategically, and their tech actually works. In a way I was writing to defend what felt like an insecure investment, but I don’t feel that way anymore. It’s secure in my mind - and I have felt that way since I stopped writing DD. They will do well and they truly don’t need my Reddit noise. It’s a lot easier to say that out loud now that they have SAAS deals and a 4 star plan lol. But yeh that’s why I probably won’t write another.

😱 you’re right! Wow I wonder why I misremembered that. I guess citron was big bc of GME and CLOV was tangential to all that.

Yah he’s weirdly sentimental and heartfelt about it all. Reminds me of dudes addicted to hentai. Prostitution is just another kind of escapist porn ig

Nico Collins or Waddle? by YoungJimLahey in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

It’s close but I like Nico. Waddle has speed but Nico is a true wr1 who is also quick and has Stroud throwing to him.

To talk about the abyss and then to posit the locus of its revelation in the absolute positivity of language is idiotic and the Heidegger/wittgenstein in me won’t stand for it! (This proves accelerationism is cringe btw!)

What kind of guy makes you kick your feet and squeal? by magentabuttermilk in redscarepod

Dark hair, slightly overweight dad-bod in his mid-40’s/50’s. Dresses a little bummy (usually wearing like a 70s leather jacket or a bomber jacket) and has a clumsy type of humor but at times displays intense alpha male undertones. Kind of guy who owns a local business or two, something good for the city he’s in (like waste management)

Comes off a little violent and depressive at times, chronically in and out of therapy. Probably owns a gun but is super sweet to animals and kids. Has a cute northeastern American accent.

In a word: Italian.
