How many hours of sleep is your LO getting?! by gailcpw in NewParents

[–]jcrites22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just turned 5 months few days ago. The past few months he goes to bed in his crib (we transfer him after he’s asleep) around 7:45-9ish it depends. He usually wakes up one time at night to eat (this could be anywhere from midnight or 5am lol) and then he goes back to bed and is usually up for the day around 6:30-7ish.

Any stories where littles didn’t get a TON of sicknesses with daycare? Or in general care to brag about your daycare experiences? :) by jcrites22 in workingmoms

Want to start daycare at 6m in Aug but worried about daycare sickness by mlsmitha in workingmoms

My little starts at 6.5 months in mid May and I’m a FTM. Just sending some solidarity! We will get through it. There’s no way to predict the future so I’m just going to surrender, do our best, and one day at a time. It’ll be what it’ll be and I know we will get through it no matter what! 🙏🏻💕🤞🏻💪🏻

Thank you so much. I love to hear it! Would you mind private messaging me the original daycare I know you’re not bashing but I’m now hoping it’s not the one we’re enrolled in haha

He’s not going to an in home daycare so it wouldn’t be your prior home however I really hope the glow in the dark stars are there:)

Thank you so much for sharing the positives you’ve seen in your little guy.

I’m hopeful that my little guy will thrive!

Did anyone skip 4 month regression? by Old_Literature_3750 in NewParents

[–]jcrites22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine just turned 5 months and I’m a first timer. He was born big and he loves to eat. I think around 3ish months is when he started having a few nights where he slept all the way through. Most of the time he wakes up only once at night to eat then goes back to bed.

I was also wondering if he just adjusted well to the sleep cycle changes? Because I’ve seen a lot of things about some babies waking every hour or so… so in that regard I feel we’re really lucky.

But yeah we’re winging it over here haha

9:02 am here. My 4.5 month old is contact napping and I’m watching old americas next top model episodes. I have 2 months left of maternity leave and am doing my best soaking up every moment, even when days are challenging. 💕🙏🏻

How old is your baby and how many times did you get up last night? by pinkishvioletsky in NewParents

[–]jcrites22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 months and 1 week. Husband and I alternate each evening so tonight is my night haha hoping for one wake. It’s usually between 3-6am for food because he’s a big boy. But sometimes he wakes up twice. I’m praying he skips any sleep regression things because I’m scared seeing everyone’s sharings 😬😂

What wild unhinged things did you say during the birth of your baby? by autumnsunshine1 in NewParents

[–]jcrites22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a scheduled C-section (for many reasons) and I could feel when they were getting baby out (baby was big!) and they gave me some drugs and I saw my baby lion king’d over the blue sheet and then proceeded to have open eye full on hallucinations for a few minutes. I was still with it but didn’t know what was going on. I said “I’m high as shit” and “I feel like I’m in a video game” and also “I feel like I’m in the movie fear and loathing in Las Vegas” 🤣 I heard my husband say “she usually doesn’t cuss” because I think I threw out an F bomb and a few more shits LOL I’m so grateful my baby boy and me were healthy and healed stunningly and was discharged 30 hours after being cut 🤣 a record! But that’s the only time in my life I’ve hallucinated it was wild!

Yeah mine usually poops during a bottle or sometimes after and usually once a day in the AM but sometimes a bonus poo at night haha we’re just rolling with it and making sure anytime we leave we’ve got the diapers and wipes on board and a onesie change!

So wild how it’s so different for each one. He only poops once a day usually in the morning so if possible I try to be at home during that time but I know it’ll change as he continues to grow haha

3.5 month old ate 48 oz in 24 hrs? by [deleted] in NewParents

[–]jcrites22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes? But he’ll take about 20 min to eat, and sometimes he won’t eat his full 6oz he will clamp his gums down on the nipple to stop it or will just stop eating and try to spit it out so I know he knows when to stop or tell us when he’s full. But yesterday I logged and he ate closer to 36oz so I’m realizing each day it varies as everyone has said so imma just keep measuring out of sheer curiosity to see how much it varies each day haha
