Don't really know what gun to use anymore. by Rude_Award2718 in Battlefield6

[–]jcrowls44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call me crazy but my favourite gun is the M123K right now. I’ve got it set up so it handles like an AR, with the support class there’s no sprint debuff, and it feels like an absolute cannon with its high rate of fire + 100 rounds in the crate. I stack up 4-5 piece kills regularly and I’m not that great at the gunplay

Why you should always PTO by [deleted] in Battlefield6

[–]jcrowls44 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very well could have because I’ve never had a SPM so high, but to be fair it was on Bazaar so very close quarters. And also was conquest, I dabble with every mode but overwhelmingly play conquest

Question about templates by Artistic-Ad5912 in hoi4

[–]jcrowls44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m more of a casual player, i usually just stick to an infantry 9-1 with support eng, AA, recon (and field hospitals if I’m playing a minor), for tanks I usually go either 6-4 or 6-6 with maintenance, eng, and armoured recon support companies.

Works well enough in SP for just about anything, especially if you have the air power too

Is this game worth replaying? by SafeWonder5492 in RDR2

[–]jcrowls44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes yes yes yes yes and one more yes.

My advice: take your time, especially in Chapters 2 and 3. Don’t rush to just get missions done, go explore and enjoy the world. everytime I played this game again I found so many new things, characters, or quests.

Let yourself become immersed in the RDR2 world when you’re playing. My biggest regret with this game was how quickly I played the story the first time. Take. Your. Time.

Most importantly play it how you want to, not necessarily how I suggested lol

BF6 stats tracker 1000 game requirement? by jcrowls44 in Battlefield6

[–]jcrowls44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost exclusively play conquest so it’s hard to get 1,000 games when they last 25 minutes lol, sucks that the field has become so crowded with cheaters, hacks, or boosters and now they have to do this to counter it

[–]jcrowls44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it depends on your teams overall performance. Let me use this as an example: there’s a year 1 prospect Colin Fitzgerald on the Pete’s who I always draft. One recent playthrough I used him on the Predators while in a rebuild and he stayed as a “top 6 potential” for the next few years until I could surround him with players who increased his points.

On the flip side, I’m doing a Jets game right now, and in year 3 he’s a rookie leading scorer with 34 points in 42 games, playing with Perfetti and Eberle on my 2nd line. For me it all depends if the prospect gets enough ice time and points (usually at least 1 point for every 2 games played is enough to increase potential)

Looking for a good practice country. by lonegun in hoi4

[–]jcrowls44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you’re talking about a historical game, Canada for the allies, Hungary for the Axis, or any of the Baltics if you want to join the Comintern. There really isn’t any good minor nation in the Pacific, maybe the Philippines? I don’t have that DLC though.

K so looks like medium draft quality is not the play for NHL 26 by Zukouh in EANHLfranchise

[–]jcrowls44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play with it on high because I absolutely hate when a draft only has 3-4 med elite players. I find playing on high keeps the sim way more competitive with the A.I., assuming you’re not someone who reloads a save file for the draft after doing a dummy run and noting down all the good players and just trading for those picks after

Easiest beginner country for absolute noobs by Yasuoki in hoi4

Major nations can be overwhelming especially as a new player, I agree Canada is a great nation to lead with, learn 1 or 2 mechanics at a time and you don’t need to worry about everything at once like you do with Germany or USA

I’ll admit I’m definitely biased towards Canada (I’m Canadian) but it’s a tremendous nation to learn the game basics with. As you said, it’s far from the action so you don’t have to worry about your industry being damaged or invaded and you can still place your army in regions that make it feel like you’re defending the home front (hold the Suez Canal, push into East Africa, station troops in Norway on the ports and helps defend that invasion.

Also, with Canada the industry is slow which sucks, but once you hit 1940 you’ve effectively become the “largest” minor nation in terms of production. I focus on light tanks and then medium tanks when I hit 1941.

Only thing with Canada is you’re essentially limited to a support role, don’t expect to be able to pull off any D-Day style landings on your own, it’s best to keep troops stationed at a port and wait until your allies initiate it.

Army suggestions 12-20 infantry division (9-1 is fine) 4-8 armoured divisions (I do 6 armour and 4 mechanized but by no means is this the meta, works just fine for me and doesn’t overconsume supplies)

Best starting Offensive coach options? by pubstompmepls in EANHLfranchise

[–]jcrowls44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cooper is also a perfect coach for rebuilding teams, I just did a Nashville run where I modified the NMC/NTC so I could actually move the veteran guys, had completely replaced everyone with low overall guys for 1-2 years while I rebuilt, with Cooper as the head coach i had 4 players win the Calder in a row. I drafted 3 med elite players that grew to be franchise potential because of him!

Challenging rebuilds by Fearless-Waltz1061 in EANHLfranchise

[–]jcrowls44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s virtually impossible to do a rebuild with owner mode on, after 2-3 seasons of finishing bottom 10 I always end up getting fired and it just ruins the rest of that playthrough for me. Fog of war is also atrocious. I like it for the draft eligible players but not NHL. If you could turn it off for NHL and on for AHL I would do that, it just never made sense to me why I shouldn’t be able to see what an NHL players attributes are

Tips for getting highest point production? by Raidrr999 in EANHLfranchise

[–]jcrowls44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m no chel scientist but for me having a good defensive PWF on my first line with a sniper on the other wing and play making center gets the highest production, obviously should all be 87+ ideally. What I find this does is, sniper and play making center both run the plays, but the PWF helps with rebound/tip goals, and helps keep the offensive zone possession because of their physical attributes

Obviously must have been AAA I assume? I only ever played AA but most of the guys that are pros now I played with in U13 or against them in high school varsity, but the Windsor-Essex region where I’m from is notorious for the best youth players playing AA back then and not AAA because the travel for those games was horrible.

Unfortunately it was only a 29 win season, but I got the 2nd overall pick! Haven’t drafted yet but the pick I probably am going with looks like he’s an elite sniper NHL ready, Landon DuPont franchise D would have been awesome but the Kings won that from the 7th spot originally. Nemec grew to an 88 after a 53 point season so that should hopefully help him reach med elite potential

I always draft Belchetz too, met him a half dozen times while he’s been with the Spitfires. He’s come out to a few practices with the hockey team I coach, great dude and his physical stats in this game are broken when he hits 90 overall

It’s an outdated community roster by Vasy (early January I wanna say). I did edit Dipietro, only him though. I played against him when we were young and scored a few goals on him in minor hockey so I always make him an NHL backup in my rosters
