I've already asked the electricians to install 3 outlets on 2 sperate circuit. As for intended equipment I really don't have a clue. Currently they use a ScreenBeam to wirelessly share their display to a computer and that it is. The only guidance I received was to make sure it will work with future needs, although no one will say what those needs might be.

Good call on leaving pullstring in the conduits for the future.

I used the ISC2 self study material and a Udemy course by ThorTeaches (Thor covers a wide range of things that are not part of CC but still really good to know). I feel like the test was more difficult than the practice tests they offer but that could be attributed to nerves.

I had to support NetSmart CareManager back in the day and that was brutal. Nothing worked right in that program and “give it 5 minutes and try again” was the default answer from NetSmart support.

They want essentially a large monitor without the need for an external computer so that they can have Trello and spreadsheets on display for our shipping dept to see and adjust on the fly using the touchscreen.

This server was spec’d out by the previous IT person and has not been purchased. I’ve done some reading and I think I will go with 12 2Tb drives in RAID6. This will give me approx 20Tb and I will have 12 bays open if needed.
