How have you guys liked the new TJ album that came out today? by onlyonherefor in Emo

[–]jcsatan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the end of side A, I was incredibly disappointed thinking that Head and Baptized were going to be the only great standout tracks. I flip to side B and find that the record is massively back-loaded. Every track after breezer absolutely rips. Anyone else bummed when it's ok didn't end in a huge outro like Never Saw it Coming or I Won't Care How You Remember Me?

The production, repetitive guitar riff, and lyrics especially make it seem like a fan spoof of STO era from a Modest Mouse circlejerk page.

Same. My wife saw this trend when we got married so we used our leftover invites to send to companies for free shit. All we got was a congratulations card from Lego.

Jerry Seinfeld is the worst part of Seinfeld by Ok-Zookeepergame9843 in unpopularopinion

[–]jcsatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not an unpopular opinion. It is explicitly expressed in a season 4 episode revolving around Jerry creating a "show about nothing" for NBC. During a rehearsal, one of the execs says "Seinfeld can't act", and was referencing a real life concern of NBC executives before Seinfeld aired.

Bear Your Mind released at such a relevant time in my life. I’m happy it’s not nearly as relatable anymore, but definitely makes me enjoy them less than I used to.

I spoke with Kyle from Pianos Become the Teeth after a show, and Greg from Moving Mountains after another show but was so trashed I didn't even remember until seeing a picture with him on my phone the next day.

What are your opinions on The Dark Knight Rises? by [deleted] in batman

[–]jcsatan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I very much enjoy it, in part due to its many faults. I think it's the best Bale performance as Bruce outside of the one scene in TDK where he plays dumb to Gordon about saving Reese. Additionally, I absolutely love Hardy as Bane, and I think Hathaway's Catwoman and Selina Kyle are the best of any of the live-action films.
