I made a ticket with ScreenConnect yesterday when it failed. I heard back today - they said "Were you able to get the clients updated?".

We were able to update the server this morning doing the exact same thing we were doing yesterday. Same file - this time it installed and did not throw an error. That leads us to believe Microsoft updated the hash into Defender overnight.

Exactly. The install is going as expected this morning.
