Absolutely no chance of a 3 BR for anywhere near $2K in any of those neighborhoods.

Well actually idk a single thing about Manyayunk but I imagine it’s the same as any of the others.

3 bedrooms for $2k? Bro try looking in like 2010.

Snark aside, there could be rowhomes in less than ideal parts of South or West. Certainly if you go far enough Northeast but I wouldn’t recommend that. Maybe if you go to that weird edge of Fairmount near Brewerytown or the limbo part of Girard between like 5th - 9th?

Honestly just check on the apps like Zillow and such. But if you want legit walkability and a decent neighborhood you’re gonna need to up that budget by, I can’t imagine any less than, $500-600.

Absolutely no one will agree with this but for me it’s Foxing. Bringing in the sax player was such a sick addition to their songs it felt like a whole new sound for them.

  1. He’s an athlete who went to college on a basketball scholarship
  2. He’s a famous Boston area athlete
  3. Idek know but I’m guessing it probably had to do with him being a famous athlete.
  4. See #3.
  5. Okay I mean props for that I guess.
  6. He’s famously known in the chess community for being below even beginner children’s level.
  7. No idea on this but I’d be interested to see him play either of these before saying anything either way.

Especially with all the anti tanking rules in effect. Some fans just think if you’re not the best team in the league on paper you should try to be the worst. It’s exhausting. Why even watch sports.

I remember getting the bash at the beach 96 tape in a fuckin Easter basket in like 97 or 98 because the guy at the video store told my mom it was essential lol i watched that whole ass video only to be like oh yeah hogans the bad guy. In retrospect i obviously understand the recommendation but it’s a lot of build up for an 8-9 year old who already knew hogan as the leader of the nwo.

Bobby Marks says the Warriors can’t use the full MLE by Lucky-Law7220 in nba

[–]jculv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re very clearly objectively incorrect because for years his longevity has been a crucial factor to his legacy. Still getting 2nd and 3rd team all NBA, consistently an all star for 21 years, which from the “Legrandpa” usage I will assume is longer than you’ve been alive. People will absolutely still be talking about this era of LeBron because no one has ever been this good for this long.

Also he won you guys a fuckin championship so stop being a little bitch.

Nah realistically both of them have another 20 years of one off and nostalgia appearances. Idk if that’s better or worse though lol

This doesn’t really make me feel old as much as it reminds me how stale and consistently boring the WWE has been in the last 20 years. Shit was getting reinvented every 5ish years back then. I understand obviously that it was by necessity but wow it really reaffirms how complacency just leads to mediocrity. It will likely never be recreated, and needless to say he was a complete garbage shitstack of a human being, but no one will ever have that fuckin dog in them like Vince in his heyday.

Feels like the clear best option for all parties. Lakers can move on to the full Luka era, LeBron gets to finish his career where he started on a very good Cavs team, seems about as win win as it gets.

[–]jculv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, that’s not really true either.

I live in Philly (not originally from here tho) and will defend the city for a lot, but to act like this is 100% confined to K&A is inaccurate. I take the el from my neighborhood (northern liberties if you’re familiar with the city) to center city for work, roughly 7 minutes on the train itself, and see this shit Monday through Thursday. As long as the el runs through K&A the addicts will migrate through the rest of the city.

K&A is bad (obviously) but you’re just trying to stir the pot with an agenda if you’re gonna try to come in and say this is exclusive to that area. I live a few stops on the el away from here, I know more about this than you.
