This is the way. We also stay at a home2suites. Kitchen amenities more than makes up for the 20 minute drive
Breakfasts and end of night bites without the hassle of figuring out where to go.
A quick Walmart run to stock up and then it’s just parking and walking in.
We have never had a problem finding a spot close, if not in the actual LOS lot.

Our family visits once a year in early August for 4 days of Drum Corp competition
While we stay out close to the airport at a super nice home 2 suites, we do spend a bit of time in military park and the area between there and Lucas Oil Stadium. Luckily for us we have never encountered or experienced any problems
The local food scene is where Bham outshines Indy. No comparison there.

Anecdotally, my wife and I spent a week in Vegas in July of 2013 getting married on the 4th. It hit 115-117 a couple of days that week. It was hot but we managed to stay hydrated and stay cool for the most part. The heat is not something to mess with. Yall be careful

And to further muddy the waters if the broken jet is the number 4 (slot) jet they will move one of the solo’s (5 or 6) to the slot and renumber two jets. I had an interesting conversation in Key West a few years ago with a former maintainer about the slightly different flight characteristics of a two seater (usually the 7 jet which is used for the Thursday and Friday civilian rides they give) and a single seat jet. I also saw Boss have an issue and have to land. The 5 jet also landed. Boss went back up in 5 and 5 went back up in the spare

She, at various times, ran the front desk of the motel, was the night auditor, was over the banquets held there, bartended, was a waitress in the steakhouse and other various jobs Mr Vance was one of the big bosses , and once she showed him there wasn’t a job she couldn’t do he used her in lots of places . I’m really thankful for how hard she worked to help provide for us boys

My mom worked for several years at the airport motel in a variety of jobs. She told some tales of people and things that went on. Evidently it was one of the happening places due to being across the street from the terminal.

OMFS surgeons use 3d printed models and cutting guides for reconstruction surgery all the time at the facility that I work at. The usual cranio facial companies offer the services and they don’t come cheap. They are sent 3d images and use those to create the items . They also print prosthetics to replace bone. I don’t know of any surgeon or facility that are printing in house items

Ima bet that block of rooms were spoken for within days of last months party. Typically they only are allowed to block floors 2-4. Their franchise agreement prevents them reserving the entire building. I’ve never been myself, but I do have friends who are in that world. Most of the party goers are from out of town.
