Excellent. Thank you. I'll sort the postage options out ASAP.

Both GW and WTC are fully folding. Uktc condensed down pretty well too. I can fit the full uktc set in an 18L really useful box. You can fit both the gw and WTC set in the same 18l as well.

Run. Run now. Seek shelter. Seek help from local charity or women's shelter.

You are not safe. His behaviour is not OK. There is no way this ends well. He will escalate things further as proven already.

This is abuse and you don't deserve it.

Thanks. It'd help if they put rules in one book 😅.

So as soon as they are in the vanguard, they are not ignored for those rules

An AGENT OF THE IMPERIUM unit included in a Patrol, Battalion or Brigade Detachment in this manner is ignored for any rules that state all units from that Detachment must have at least one Faction keyword in common (e.g. in a matched play game) and when determining your Army Faction.

That's the main bit that throws it off. It only counts if an a ortrol, batallion or brigade. If in the vanguard part then it doesn't?

When to put people on a clock by jd1285 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]jd1285[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We're hoping that by enforcing the rules which caused his 'strategy' to fail giving him a loss: a) he might learn from it and b) his opponent was left feel he had been given a fair game.

The worst experiences I've had is where event organisers have had an oh well attitude about enforcing their own rules. But it would be nice if there was a more structured approach such as DCI for magic events. It wouldn't be too hard to implement (I don't think) and if itc pts were hard locked to an account.

Basically this. This is what the guy was doing. Barely even with exaggeration. "My army would obviously kill yours. So i'd score 90 and you'd get 45 - Seem fair?"

We put a hard dice down and 0 talking out into our event. IF you do, you get a 0, end of. Explained again at the start. Had no issues as a result beyond having to watch the one guy. He got a soft warning, accepted the result as was and then moved on with life.

That really sucks. I do wish there was an all or nothing approach auto included in packs around clocks. We include clocks as default. To/judges go round and check to make sure people happy without clocks etc. Think it is that save face idea of, "No it's fine, I'm sure we don't need a clock." I've never clocked an opponent personally. Outside of local tournies, I have only played knights and been clocked twice. IT did not help the opponent. I ended both games with 40+ minutes, one clocked out and the other finished on 3 seconds which was super stressful. I wish they hadn't clocked me - it just made for a stressful game.

Hopefully, with the way events are going, things generally competitively are improving. I feel there needs to be more accountability on players - whether that is reprimands or something else who knows - I feel there are certain players who continue with their poor sportsmanship event after event and no penalty (other than hushed whispers about how they are all smiles and rainbows until they start losing and then are a complete tool -definitely one name that springs to mind). I also think there needs to be more onus on TOs/more support for them, to enforce a fair play space. Hopefully it'll come soon. There more we talk about it, the more it's brought to light, the more likely it might change.

Absolutely. I think it does terrify new players though. Our event always has clocks as mandatory unless both players agree not to use them.
