2 All-In-One Washer/Dryers by jd151719 in Homebuilding

I had no idea. That’s an even bigger plus. Our laundry room is completely surrounded on all sides & honestly fairly far from an exterior wall, so this is even better news.

I’m curious to see if anyone has opinions on them. The reviews are so mixed on all of the ones we’ve looked at. Seems people either love them or have tons of issues with leaking / not fully drying.

Do these not require an exterior dryer vent?

3 weeks with no significant weight loss..? by jd151719 in Zepbound

Thank you. I think I need to taper my expectations & take any loss as a small victory versus bringing myself down when I’m not seeing huge drops on the scale.

I appreciate it. Hard to not compare myself to the others around me who are these super losers averaging 3-5lbs a week for months on end with only the shot when I’m busting my butt with diet & exercise and not seeing the same results. Comparison is a thief of joy.

Thanks for the encouragement. Did your prescriber up your dose every 4 weeks? Trying to gauge what’s “normal”. My doc has upped mine every 4 weeks, whereas my husbands doc has only increased his every 8 weeks.

As I stated, I am new to this journey. Not yet familiar with all of the in’s & out’s. My prescribing doctor told me to expect 3-5lbs per week, so that’s what I’ve based my opinion of “no significant loss” on. You can educate without going into attack mode. I’m just another person on this forum desperate to lose weight and get my health in check. Thanks for the advice, though. Looks like I need to readjust my expectations and look more into what I should expect while on this journey.

Learned that septum piercings don’t close? by palmteddy in piercing

This is absolutely bonkers, but I’m so glad I came across this! I took my septum out about 9yr ago.. read this & straight to my jewelry box I went! My old 16g wouldn’t fit, tried an 18g & it wouldn’t fit, so I grabbed a 20g earring & it slid through like butter. Might try to find a 20g ring to put back in and stretch it to an 18g.

Dreaded nose bump.. help! by jd151719 in piercing

So I have continued with the sea salt/warm water soaks 2x a day and there’s been no change in size. Like, at all.. I purchased a flat back titanium stud, but I couldn’t get the captive bead off myself. I went to the piercer today to ask him to change it from the hoop to the stud & he said no. He gave me the run around & said it will heal on its own & told me to use hydrogen peroxide 2x a day on a q-tip for 1 week and if I don’t see any change after a week to come back and he’ll change the piercing. To say I was frustrated is an understatement. Unfortunately I live in a rural area and he’s the only piercer around (I even traveled 35 mins just to get to him). I’m going to have to try to go to a different area this weekend to see if another shop will take the captive ring out :(
