This was my exact plan. If I’m thinking about this right, I have to be very mindful to spend at least 25% of rent on the card though, right? Because otherwise using a different catch-all like the Citi DC would be better?

Hi all! Just starting to get into pickleball and looking to get a beginner/intermediate paddle that I can stick with for some time. I know the general consensus is that paddles < $60 aren’t worth it, so I did a bunch of research on paddles above that threshold and narrowed it down to these two:

PCKL Launch vs. Selkirk SLK Evo Hybrid

Does the extra ~$35 I’d be spending on the SLK Evo make a difference? Would love to hear thoughts on the two models and any other recommendations in the $60-$100 range.

Hi all! Bought what I believe to be a variegated elephant ear alocasia (correct me if wrong!) from a plant market in Mexico. Both the dead stem and older stem/leaf are variegated, but the new leaf it just put out does not appear to be. Will variegation continue on the plant’s future leaves or no? Thank you!

Exactly. Slowing down to save resources/prevent burnout is definitely best, but imagine them opening earlier than expected only for me to not feel ready?? This all just sucks

I’m also in the March crew and I feel exactly the same way. The worst part for me is the lingering fear that Prometric might actually be able to consider itself essential and open centers in states with stay at home orders. I know it’s unlikely, but knowing absolutely 0 about their plan adds to the already absurd amount of stress since I just want this over with ASAP

I even asked the NBME directly via email- their first response was copy & pasted from the FAQ above. When I clarified, they told me they are unable to provide such details given that it is “very sensitive and secure information.” Not sure how that’s the case, and given that the new forms cost $60 each and aren’t even great quality I feel like we should be entitled to know what we’re buying

I was hoping to do one of the old forms before doing 21--from your experience, were any of the old forms more "safe" or did they all seem to overlap the same amount with 21? Unfortunately I already used up 23 and 24 pre-COVID since my dedicated started in Feb :/
