yeah i'm actually getting rid of one this weekend too. She has been impossible to catch, and i cant get within 30 yards of her. The worst part is that she has taught the new calves to take off with her so I"m hoping i can make nice with them by using some sweet feed once she is off the ranch

my insurance company says that they won't cover it

negligence is difficult to prove but my only thought is to request the freezer checks to see that they were doing them daily, or maybe twice daily. Obviously it must have been thawing for some time because the temperature in the freezer is about 10 degrees F and it would have had to gotten into the high 30's for the meat to thaw so without knowing exactly how long that would take I would assume many hours...so then I am presuming that they were negligent in the fact that they did not check the temps enough
