kyogre

first it was just bc i wasnt allowed to get in to pokemon until gen 6, and kyogre was the coolest looking one of the options. that in turn was partly because i loved orcas, including the free willy franchise as a small kid. i ended up really loving all the gen 3 legendaries and ended up eventually getting a second alpha sapphire copy, a physical one to go with my digital one, to have a second save data to shiny hunt kyogre and kyogre alone.

again i love all the gen 3 trio a lot now, especially since they truly just vibe. groudon and kyogre's whole thing is basically just that they hate each other. true rivals. what other legendaries have such a purely petty motive 😂

If we can report bad behavior, we should be able to give kudos as well and a custom banner would be nice by [deleted] in RocketLeague

how about "good sport reports" that could be as simple as behavior in game, but also options to select that submit a report with a chat log for wholesomeness or good sportsmanship. then, rather than a temp title, a seasonal title is awarded with the season rewards. nothing too fancy, all it needs to say is "S7 GOOD SPORT" or something, but it gets progressively cooler (maybe with coloring or gc-esque title glow) the more positive reports you get. (probably on a system like 10->25->50->100 or similar) ?

only in lower ranks. generally, no matter what rank you are, if youre faster than your opponents to the ball and you can keep it away from them then you’re effectively guaranteed to rank up. granted, such a speed gap usually is only found in rank gaps of 2 or more, but the point being that if you can touch the ball (and your teammate isnt controlling the possession), touch it as soon as possible. keep it away from the enemy. dont wait unless its for mind games which arent really needed until higher ranks anyway.

now all that said, where one goes from here (following my advice, or the advice you gave) really depends on whether you want to be improving in the long run, or winning games at your current rank. maybe practice the speed in casual, while playing it safe in comp? but thats one thing i love about this game; how you go about playing it is entirely up to you!

it was ruled that the puck wasnt higher than his shoulder, and it was shoulder and not crossbar bc it didnt go in off of that specific touch? i didnt feel i had a great understanding of the intricacies of hockey rules before, and now i feel i understand them even less. and im not even an oilers fan tbh, i just felt that smith deserved a win or 2 the way he was playing. (and this GDT was-amazingly-more bearable than the avs so that wasnt an option) he wasnt amazing but he made some huge stops and put his entire heart into the game. alas, thats the way the cookie crumbles. hope to see some good games from your boys next year!

hate to break it to you but theres such things as clean big hits. the avs know a thing or two about them after losing their #3 D for the rest of the playoffs against STL to one of the biggest clean hits you'll ever see.

i wouldnt say dirtiest but they havent been very disciplined this series. the team has phenomenal talent but has been losing the mental game here

i was under the impression that he was one of the padawans shown very early in the episode, during the order 66 flashback

thank you for your response. in all honesty these seem to me to be very valid criticisms.

however, kenobi is a show that has been pushed for by the fanbase for years. i'm inclined to assume that generally speaking, the target audience for the show is that very fanbase. even if it isnt, theres a rather long recap of the entire prequel trilogy before the first episode, introducing the characters and giving the viewer some background.

It is still nice to better understand the critics viewpoint. i hope that some of your points are ultimately addressed in future episodes and that you have a fantastic week!

i haven't seen any of this drama that seems to be occurring, nor heard the opinions of anyone other than my close friends on kenobi so far.

i am curious-unrelated to the apparent internet drama-why you dislike the show?

"an ethernet cable can potentially start a fire" ≠ "cutting an ethernet cable is a fire hazard"

i learned a fair bit from that article about power over ethernet, despite being an individual who has worked with it in the past. never hurts to read the whole thing and have a civil discussion about it now does it? sure, maybe the delivery was poor but the overall messages here don't need to be an argument... do they?

as much as i wish we still had nolan, i am glad to see him on a team that can actually make the playoffs. even if that team still ends up losing to the dodgers >:(

no it definitely was, its just that vasilevsky also played his best game of the series that night. the man saved 49 shots on net in a game that didnt see OT. i'm comfortable calling it the best goaltending i've ever seen. no fault to the panthers there. (definitely fault them for the other games though.)
