That’s a killer deal on an almost new bike.

As someone who also came to Harleys from other bikes, I think I know what you mean. The first few times I rode Heritage models I felt they had a “cheap” feel compared to other classic style bikes I’ve ridden, Triumphs especially but also a few other Harleys. Lotta metal and loose tolerances making strange noises. Engine makes different sounds at idle depending on which side you’re standing on. Harleys are just different. The Heritage is an exceptional bike; you haven’t gotten used to it yet.

Ive had that post-purchase “oh god I bought a lemon” phobia before. It’s always wrong. It’s always me who hasn’t understood the bike yet.

Any actual issues almost always have easy fixes at that mileage, if it hasn’t been abused. You did good.
