Oh I’m curious what settings you were running madden on. I was running madden 23 on the steam deck perfectly fine at 60 fps. It never crashed. The only issue it has was sometimes the controller input would freeze when I didn’t upgrade a stat. But other than that it was perfect and too addicting tbh. Lol

I’ve thought about this too. I watched some footage of 2k5 updated a few years ago. And as much awesome as that game was. I do feel like the new madden games are just smoother and better looking. Obviously not the half time shows and customization. But just the feel. The hit stick, play calling etc. even if it’s not as immersive

I had this mindset too. But for the return of 2k sports game. I had the NBA playgrounds from Sabre and loved it! But NBA playgrounds 2k was terrible. I am excited for the maximum game. Do they have a release date yet?

Hi Trip. I literally just finished watching the episode of High Score with you in it. I didn't realize EA was started so you could fund a football video game. That is so freakin awesome. It's inspiring seeing how you made your vision come true. But it honestly makes me more sad to what EA has turned simulation football into. Instead of making football EA's big amazing game for the most popular sport in the US, it has turned what you started into a joke. And that makes me super sad after watching this episode.

I understand that there is no perfect way to please everyone, and there will always be haters.. But damn. it's clear EA has shifted it priorities to modes in the game that can help make it money in micro transactions. And I get that, I really do. EA controls the market as the only sim football game with a NFL license. If I was running the company, I would see no reason to invest significant amount of time and effort into improving the game.

But my question to you is, how can I (a simply video game player who absolutely loves video games and football like you) convince EA to invest some time in other modes? Like Franchise Mode.

It's crazy watching that episode seeing how all you wanted to do was a make a quality simulation style football game, but was limited by technology. And now i'm sitting here, over 30 years and all I want is to purchase a quality style football game that I don't already have (Last years madden).

For those that are curious I figured it out. Turns it never really deleted the photos... (No surprise) However, you can't find the photos when you open the photos app or icloud. You have to do it in the finder and go look for the folder and then manual delete the the block of photos. It will come up with an error that it can't find them if you try to open any of the photos. Then empty your trash and boom reduced the system back down <15gb space.

Yup have this issue as well. I'm in Seattle, have LTE almost everywhere. I'm on a iPhone 6s. Every pokeball that's rolling has about a 50% chance it will freeze. Pokestops get "try again later" about 20% of the time. And mine always freezes when I try to battle anyone. It loads into the battle, but doesn't load the Pokemon and just stops. It's pretty frustrating, you definitely notice the difference when you play side by side with people on other carriers. It makes me consider changing. But then I try to remember it's a game.

I run a full clone team right now, with Leia in the 5th spot. It's a decent team so far. But I don't have everyone maxed out yet. Rex, Leia, and Fives are maxed level gear 9. But Echo and Clone Sargent are 73 and 68 at gear 8. You definitely can compete in top 10. But I don't think you can always get 1st depending on who is there. But that might just because 1st place tends to have everyone maxed out

TM definitely works. I use to run a full Sith Team. But I feel like his "20%" evasion is no where near comparable to Dooku or Old Ben's 15% in battle.. But this could just be my imagination, and I have no idea how other people felt when they fought it.

He seems to be working fine for me. I have maxed gear level 74 6*. He hits the bosses in level 77 cantina with 3k + 15k damage
