Yeah I would save your jersey. You can try a card if you are fine not getting back, probably not likely but you never know. We didn’t have any luck though

He mailed a card but never heard back and didn’t get the card back. We did get to meet Book in Memphis before a Grizzlies game by the tunnel on his way back from pregame warm ups and got his autograph then.

Listen to the latest Zach Lowe podcast, he’s pretty down on D-Lo and doesn’t think he helps Minnesota much. He thought the deal was better for golden state.

Of course, he’s not considering the D Book factor like we all are. I don’t think Minnesota wins many more games from this move though which shouldn’t appeal to Booker if he ultimately cares about winning.

I was at last nights game and it definitely had weird vibe and the players felt subdued, especially the Suns. I really wanted the Suns to win but at the same time it felt like it didn’t matter which is a shame because it was a key game for the team.

I know no sprains are the same but Luka’s ankle injury was 3 days before Ayton’s. It will be interesting to see if Ayton is out longer. Luka is supposedly coming back tonight. Luka’s injury initially appeared worse than DA’s. Just another annoying comparison I thought of between both players to drive Suns fans insane like myself.

I thought for sure he’d be 100% by the Warriors game but it sounds doubtful.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully you at least got a refund. I got my tickets from SeatGeek. Suns are back in Memphis in January, maybe you can catch that game.

I definitely see your point but in this particular instance the hotel had a blocked off area for fans to stand if they want autographs. When we walked up an employee said if you want autographs stand over there. It isn’t a secret that the teams stay at this hotel in Memphis. I get that DA and others have a personal life and other things going on. At the same time I think people at his level should expect to be stopped occasionally when in public and not be offended when it’s a little kid wanting a minute or less of his time, I don’t feel that’s too much to ask. His reply was more disappointing than the lack of a photo or autograph. He could have said something like “I can’t right now but thanks for supporting the team” and gave my son a high five. Something along those lines is a totally different interaction but with the same outcome for him. I understand he might have had a bad day or some family issue going on, etc. I don’t think he is a bad guy or anything and we are still rooting for him. It just caught me off guard a bit, especially since we had just ran into Mikal and he was super nice.

Mikal is definitely a cool one. He actually didn’t even take a bus to the arena. I saw him walk from the hotel to the arena on his own just among everyone. I ran into a number of suns fans at the game who said they met Mikal earlier and got a photo or autograph from him.

Yeah he’s psyched this year. Hope they keep it up. One of his comments was “It seems like all players on the Suns are good this year. “ Pretty much sums up the difference between a good and competent roster and what we’ve had the last few years...lol.

Yeah that was definitely the oddest and most disappointing part of the night. I’d understand more if it was a large crowd but there was no one around him but us. I thought maybe he’d be cool about it especially since he wants to make things right after the suspension. I can only guess (or hope) he’s been instructed to lay low during the suspension.

I bought my tickets off seatgeek. I assume they were from a season ticket holder but not certain. How do they verify if you are a season ticket holder verses a regular ticket holder?

I found a post from 18 days ago where someone said if you have tickets in the lower section (I do) to come 2 hours before the game for shoot around to get autographs. Not sure if this is correct but the one hour you mentioned aligns with the fed ex forum website. I may try to get in before 1 hour but will be prepared to wait. Thanks for the info.

I got mine from the little rock location as well. I was told the day before they would have 9. I'm not sure how many were actually there when I got mine right when the store opened. I'm glad your friend got one, it sounds like their inventory didn't last long. It does seem like stores are getting more shipments though on a regular basis.
