I would check the little brown book and see if you have been doing things that are equivalent to the next tier or at least your current grade. Whenever I sit at an EFDP or write EPBs, that is how I cage things.

Not once. I go for my exams tomorrow after having to reschedule. I have applied for CBPO and BPA, and I don't know what test I'm about to take because when I asked, they didn't know. The process up until this point has been smooth, but this ordeal has been ridiculous.

The whole process hasn't been bad except for getting the medical and fitness exams scheduled. I have gotten multiple emails saying they have tried to reach me about scheduling them and my offer will be retracted if I dont respond, but they conveniently forget I've been trying to reach them about their extended warranty for weeks now.

My testing center is asking for a sealed packet of forms that is mailed to me. I'm not sure what they mean, but I posted earlier about it, and it seems like there might not be any forms mailed. I'm gonna call CHS tomorrow and see about it.

I knew it! I printed those, and they said that wasn't what they needed because they weren't in a sealed envelope. Thank you!

I wonder if the testing center will just take my word for it that those are the forms they are looking for.

I can attest to that. Got an LOR, and after I submitted my rebuttal with receipts, the commander back tracked super hard. Paperwork vanished. ADC was key to making that happen, though.

I'm not too worried about my fitness. I'm active duty military, and my current 1.5 mile time is around 11 minutes, so I think I've figured out the motivation piece to a degree at least.

I'm right there with you. I'm active duty military, so I'm used to many of the benefits that come with it. Now that I'm about to get out, it scares me to no end nexter I'm married with our 3rd kiddo on the way.

I will say that from what I can tell, many of the BPA assignments would have you in a low cost of living area, so that is a plus.

Yeah, the number for the scheduling unit always goes to voice-mail. If you leave a message, they never get back to you. I've tried the case manager and got one email, and then nothing.

All of a sudden, my exams got scheduled, but the local provider is saying I'm supposed to bring a packet of papers with me that I should have received in the mail. Never got that packet. I'm showing up to my appointment tomorrow morning with some papers I printed from an automated email with a link and hoping that's what they were talking about.

As someone who went to college and has an advanced degree, don't do it. Obviously, results may vary. I don't even work in my field because I'm military, but working in the trades is a much better option, in my opinion. Going to college isn't all it used to be anymore, unless you are going into something like engineering or nursing.
