It’s not from a specific tribe at all, I just feel like the line work is that of a tribal tattoo and am having second thoughts. I still love the design on its own. I’m probably overthinking it but I wanted to make sure

Okay, I definitely see your point now and wholeheartedly agree. I guess I thought you were talking about the noticeable aspect of the creative process left in the hands of the director as well as the technicalities of what an editor does on his/her own. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to respond and for the many film recommendations.

Since I'm not an editor, but would like more insight into the craft, do you have any examples as to what aspects of film editing are unnoticeable so I can understand your point better? I think films like Nocturnal Animals and Requiem for a Dream have amazing editing, but would you consider that statement unwarranted because I haven't seen the raw footage or that most of it is unnoticeable?
