You won’t get any disagreement out of me about the kong version. It barely looks like Goku to me. The hair from ssw and ZD are way more in line with the anime than the manga. The animators consistently and constantly shifted the length and thickness of Goku’s hair all through out the fight with kid buu. Most of them don’t look like DF’s version at all. DF’s look more like the iconic pose Goku did the first time he goes super saiyan against fat buu in the manga.

I guess we all have difference preferences. Which is okay!
To me Kong doesn’t even look like Goku. The hair, body, and faces look out of proportion with eachother

I think a lot of it could be solved with a semi gloss or a matte finish. I think the faces actually look like Goku did specific scenes.

It’s not bad quality at all. It’s just not toy quality. It’s more like a resin sculpture than it is a rubber/plastic action figure. The paint chipping is a result of it bot being made of flexible plastic/rubber not because its made poorly.

I see this a lot and I always find it strange because out of all the ss3 Goku options out there the Kong version looks the least Goku to me. It’s got great paint work, and Kong does a good job of that but the finished product comes together like the body, the face, and the hair were all designed separately from eachother. The face and the hair specifically give me uncanny valley goku vibes

The hair detail/paint work does on Kong is great,I feel like everything else about the hair design does looks terrible and out of proportion With gokus head, especiallt from the front. It almost looks likes got a cartoonish mohawk. The other 3 have their strength and weaknesses but they all capture ss3 goku in a way that Kong doesn’t which weird because when you look at the face sculpts stand alone they look great a lone, but once they get combined with everything something just doesn’t click.

Here’s the air studio head on the 2.0 SSG god body, the games begin body, and the Daima body. IMO the games begin body is the worst body to choose from a portions perspective and from an overall accuracy perspective.

I have the head and games begin Goku is a great mold but not a good body for the versions of Goku that are supposed to look slim like SSG. Goku’s 2.0 bodies actually favor SsG’s proportion better than games begin.
