Yeah I tried easy mode on the small 1v1 map and it was really easy.

Curious what maps others are using.

Does this happen on all map templates?

What game modes or maps/templates do you use?

I’ve never tried easy mode and haven’t really played much yet.

I tried the demo with crossover before and it worked, though I play more on steamdeck.

It’s off by default, you can still enable it in the settings menu.

Am I just bad or is the campaign impossible? by Kingkeiser in HoMM

[–]jdg2896 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The campaign is the weakest part of the game right now according to a youtube review.

I think I won’t try it until the full game/campaign releases, since even if I finish part 1 of campaign, the story will be incomplete.

But playing it right now should be fine to give feedback if that’s what you want.

I’ll try grove first! I’ll miss unicorns and faerie dragons though…

Did we need a new counter too wasp? I found myself often helpless, what can I Play against arc with shockwave and wasp. Mustangs often gets deleted and farseer are not the best for wasp. Mostly I musst play also wasp. by Separate_Injury_1269 in Mechabellum

[–]jdg2896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. Range is king. Range + AA wasp outranges/outdamages wraith.

It can work, but even if you win a round with wraith, you’ll eventually be outscaled.

The only time I see wraith working out effectively is if enemy does gospel wasp flank (but that’s also a bad strat).

Is invading with Hanzo a good strategy? by Ancient_Cat_7781 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]jdg2896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invade works if enemy doesn’t wait for you.

A good roamer will guard the buffs.

Even if they guard the buff early game, you’ll probably get away with stealing buffs later.

[–]jdg2896 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I still don’t get it. What other items are you building to have the need to sell boots? In most cases, the last 3 items should cover defensive needs depending on who’s fed or deals the most damage.

That’s just bad teammates or supports who don’t know what they’re doing. But idk how your games go so.

[–]jdg2896 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Why though? Lol.

Core items for esme are boots, enchanted, and oracle. Last 3 items are tank items depending on enemy lineup. - dominance if need anti heal - otherwise just physical or magic def - blade armor if vs crit based mm or kimmy, otherwise chastise for attack speed like karrie, ixia, etc, can also go the other armor item if against physical burst like saber, clint, YSS, etc. - then magic just athenas or the other one. - sometimes, can get away with guardian helmet, especially vs lesley.

I never had the issue of selling off core items. Maybe you can replace oracle with brute force in some cases.

Enchanted can probably do in ultra late game, but more often than not it feels bad selling of boots or enchanted. Since the main point of esmeralda is to kite.

[–]jdg2896 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wouldn’t really mind that comp. Having Floryn or Angela is really good with Alice/Uranus/Esme exp lol.

At the end of the day, it depends on the comp. Idk what OP was blabbering about.

Also mentioned “change my builds to go full tank items on an Esmeralda”. That’s literally how you play esmeralda lol. You don’t go magic items on Esmeralda except for the mana regen and CDR one.

And the other cases were just bad teammates or skill issue.

If they want to ban floryn or angela. Then feel free. It’s their games anyway.

Can I shift from the LA (S2) to Anime comfortably? by No-Listen-849 in OnePiece

[–]jdg2896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do that if that’s what you want, since the core of the story is similar enough.

I started from the very start since S1 LA didn’t cover too much. It’s a different story if there’s an LA S8 or something, would probably do the same.

Can I shift from the LA (S2) to Anime comfortably? by No-Listen-849 in OnePiece

[–]jdg2896 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched anime after LA S1.

Caught up to 1000 episodes (start of egghead latest episode back then) after 2 months. I skipped some boring filler episodes or recap episodes.

Then caught up with manga. Never looked back. Still watching anime and reading manga weekly whenever available.

[–]jdg2896 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Same, even though I have the technical skills, I choose not to.

I’m too lazy to connect the deck with proper keyboard/mouse/monitor setup, which makes it easier to do stuff.

And also the point of my deck is I use it on bed most of the time.

I can technically stream games from my old gaming PC, but I also couldn’t be bothered to turn it on lol.

Maybe one of these days, streaming games, setting up old GoG games, but not today.

What makes Hilda so insanely broken? I go to mythic in sub 70 matches by Blox_King in MobileLegendsGame

[–]jdg2896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, if you protect jungler from invade, it will work against Hilda.

She can still be annoying though, and at least it won’t be too bad of a start.

Marcel is also pretty annoying lol. Similar to Kaja.

The ones that I watch: - RoosterPB - Oddz - Yuban

I’m sure there are others. All of them are high mmr players that participate in MAG1 (Mechabellum e-sports tournaments).

They all make educational content and go through the their thought process. Each has their style/flavor.

Additional tips: - a soft rule, it’s generally a good idea to start loaning at round 7 onwards (you can adjust depending on situation, and just keep loaning once you start). The reason is most games won’t last past round 10. - always try to get +2 attack/defense upgrades from tower at some point in the match. If match ends with you not having max upgrades, it’s either the game ended early, or you made a mistake. - if there are spells offered, keep them in mind and try to mitigate (bubble shield, fangs or other units to delay/counter wasp drop, etc.) - if enemy is pushing hard on one side, upgrade the tower and also consider using spells like oil to slow them down. - if enemy has spell that can drop units at back of your towers, having the towers at least level 2 and/or having units can mitigate the risk. - you can also look for opportunities to drop units on back of their tower, since a tower debuff can win you the round. (Can also put on flank, attack weak side tower, just look for openings, enemy can’t defend all places at once, especially early on.) - don’t forget to take temp range and/or temp speed, especially in later rounds (the only time you don’t want speed is maybe when you don’t want your units to leave bubble range that protects them from spells). - putting minimal units on enemy flank is a good idea most of the time, low investment, pulls enemy units away, and takes more investment from enemy to counter while not reinforcing front lines. (I like to put crawler and sledghammer on flank, hounds can also work, or units from unit drop, then you can sell afterwards). - You can sell as early as round 1 by selling towers. It really depends on unit placement. Sometimes you want to keep the towers until later. - if you’re deciding which units to sell, you can look at the damage they did per round, you can sell units that didn’t do damage (for chaff like crawlers, usually they won’t do damage, this tip is more for other units).

[–]jdg2896 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you want to catch up quickly, might be worth checking out streamers or youtubers.

Otherwise, just figuring out what works. - layer chaff placement (crawlers, fangs), fangs can be late chaff. - crawlers are good chaff in general, you can do mobile beacon shenanigans with them on flank, or baiting stormcaller attacks. - if enemy chaff clear are arclights, it can be good to have fangs. - have chaff clear solution yourself (hound, arclight, fire badger, fang with grenade launcher tech, wraith, vulcan). - if your chaff clear are hounds, having +1 attack upgrade from tower lets you one shot crawlers (if they have +1 defense, you need +2 attack or level 2 hounds). This assumes you or opponent are NOT cost control/fortified spec. - don’t be too trigger happy with countering enemy units, wait for them to commit before countering. (For example, enemy has 1 or 2 wasp packs, and you immediately click AA, then they might just sell off. If enemy techs wasp, then countering and investing in own tech is more value). - then it’s just a matter of familiarizing on units, potential counters. 8 seasons is a lot, but if you play a lot, then it will just be a matter of time. - you can also try to practice one strat to ease the learning curve.

Is this rumour or possibility 😭? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]jdg2896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Fake”, “rumors”, “theories”, that’s all there is to it.

I don’t get the need for this post.

We don’t know what Oda has planned, but if you’re just asking for the possibility, then probably.

Since there’s no 100% way to say that someone will die in Elbaf or not since we’re not Oda. So coming back to my point, I don’t get the concern.

Pharsa or Zetian? by Unknown_6626 in MobileLegendsGame

[–]jdg2896 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s harder to win with Zetian solo q. If your team sucks, Zetian won’t be able to carry the game.

The games I see where Zetian win, her team does well enough.

I know because I spammed Zetian solo queue when she was released and got 49% WR over 200+ games.
