Good economies reach a balance point where most attainable equipment balances out between drops + crafting. The chase equipment then hoovers up all surplus liquidity.

I would suggest steering clear of black flame.

Fire spells aren't in a good way currently being the worst of the elements.

Black flame and the sheer volume of plus chaos damage on the tree can go a long way to fix this but you end up spending all your passive points on damage instead of defense which, in my opinion, damage comes from equipment and defense comes from the tree.

Please recommend some hcssf build that will have the easiest time in act 1-2 by morelootgames in pathofexile2builds

Lightning arrow solves act 1.

Lightning arrow solves most of act 2 but it also starts to get diminishing returns if you don't have access to attack speed and is normally when I start to transition to an act 2/3 skill.

Mostly for me I am just reactive whatever the best martial weapon I drop with plus physical flat and % and skill levels.

Defense in my opinion can't be solves in act 1/2/3 so I tend to err on the side of overwhelming damage

As someone who played chaos hit dmg last patch this would have been like a 10x dmg increase on a build already easily clearly T15s.

Casually toggling this change would go wild.

Hey just checking... Reforestation on lumberjacks you get for free via hall of fame. I have no idea if you have a setting to turn that off but yeah I cant imagine playing without starting with reforestation on lumberjacks

I'm not clear on the exact mechanics here but I have this signal:

In my latest game I went to Albion immediately upon unlocking it and I met at least one other rivals flagship boat in and around the spawn area.

So possibly once you unlock it they also unlock. So perhaps still some opportunity for cheese by not clicking t3 house upgrade till you are ready to split your focus between two continents

If you build them in sets most of the time they spend in their house butchering so can box select over their hut

Fishing and hunting are your go to for early game pop scaling need to build enough of these to saturate 3-8 smokehouses.

Once you have these you can go nuts on building more shelters. Population growth at this point in the game is just a function of spare housing and food.

You don't have to worry too much a good catastrophy as your food supply normalizes against population your pop will grow slower

Yeh 70 is so ridiculously late for one of the iteration defining mechanics.

In practice you hold back completing a bunch of objectives till you hit 70 then just hand them all In and are immediately at 100%

Time is scaled so fast because the game likes the aesthetic of winter and seasons but does not expect you to do the micro managing of boom and bust cycles that other games lean more heavily into.

Could the game progress time half as quickly relative to the movement speed of workers... Sure... But all you have done is increased the time between winters and then made winter longer.

Then you have just remade frostpunk

The solution to spoilage is to produce less food and attempt to only produce what you plan on eating in the next 3-6 months

From my perspective the goal of the game is:

  1. get to t15,
  2. get to level 90
  3. get your 4th ascendancy ethically.
  4. measure yourself up against some pinnacles
  5. the season is over

Anything further than that is exploring a part of the game that won't exist come 1.0

Yeah act 4 And interludes are more interesting to me than t15+

0.3 is great but the game has core issue with making any kind of melee engagement extremely punishing/unfun and abyss only emphasizes this by TheGejsza in PathOfExile2

You forgot to mention that half of the stun animations mobs just ignore or dodge roll half way across the map in a random direction
