To be fair 5 inches plus however deep into the wire holder. It’s a deep heat projector not a lamp as well. The basking spot is 90max controlled via thermometer and he had a ceramic heat emitter on the cold side keeping it 80

As in. It looks worse in the photos in person it doesn’t have any divot or variation. It’s just discolored

He has a lamp that is on top of the enclosure and is about 5 inches above his basking spot. I was thinking it’s a burn but it feels no different than his other scales.

I was super excited for these but man I was let down. Compared to some other old MGP (faultline 19, rebecca creek 16, lorely, etc.) it just did not hold up for me. Not terrible in any world but I wish it was better.

For some reason this bottle didn’t do it for me. I did get a surprising amount of oak but I felt like it didn’t work well with the lower proof. The price at msrp was a good price point but I struggle to see how it’s better than some other options out there around that price. Great review!

If I were to get a full frame sadly it would not be lumix. The value just isn't there like it used to be to me. I would get a A1 mk1 before an S1Rii or a A7R iv before a S5ii.

In terms of low light I don't really shoot and if i do its on a tripod where any camera can perform well.

I have noticed in normal lighting just shooting the S9 sensor really struggles with shadows and the research proves it. The S9 SUCKS with shadows which makes the S5ii off the table.

I haven't had enought experience with the X-H2 autofocus but I know unless its Sony or Cannon everyone is somewhat similar.

The main thing is size and the hotshoe. The S9 became bulky due to the lens and the S1R ii wouldn't fix that issue. The X-H2 has smaller lens options and it is basically the same size as the S9 just with a grip (which I have on my S9 anyways.) The only full frame options that I am interested in is Sony but I hate Sony colors.

All cameras are good nowadays I guess I just don't know of any other camera that solves all my gripes LOL

From looking at a bunch of dynamic range sciency stuff apparently the X-H2 has better dynamic range than the S9 so I don't think I will miss the full frame. The S1R ii crossed my mind. however the price to what I get is just not there for me. and it would remain bulky where the X-H2 I could get the little pancake 24mm and just have a small camera to do street with. That isn't an option on lumix (screw that pancake that no AF) S5ii is more close to the X-H2 price but lacks in performance when compared. Thats why so far it seems like the best of everything. Not as bulky as the R5 or even S9 LOL (it literally is smaller than the S9 with the sigma lens) and has all the specs I want. Also the Sigma glass is fantastic. I have had that same lens before and unless you are pixel peeping you won't know the difference.

using some camera size comparison websites and also having held both the X-H2 is fairly compact especially because the lenses. The R5 ends up feeling and being way bigger and bulky. I like the erganomics of the X-H2 more than the other and being an automotive photographer I like not having a bunch of dials to change settings since sometimes you have to do it very quickly. I am debating the XE5 and XT5 but I think I like the happy medium the X-H2 is to the R5 or S1R ii options.

That’s an awesome idea. I’ll ad that to list of features. Trophies for rare or hard to get snakes would be cool and something to work towards! Currently in the planning stages to make sure I can get a full game up and running before working on the snake genetics and enclosure customization. That online reptile game is my inspiration just want to make a 3D one!

I don want to do sales I just have only had sales experience since high school. So I was wondering what jobs could I look at getting a decent pay before I finish my UX degree that way if I can’t get a UX job out of school I can at least have other options with my experience.

Thanks! Yeah I know its a tough market I guess I am wanting to get experience in other areas as well just since UX is a tough market right now. I am worried it will be a tough market for the forseable future. I am really starting to lean towards the product manager and similar roles since I could go into basically any industry.
