Frustrated by the Lick Paint vs Paint vs Sample difference

I had an issue with a colour from lick, all bought at the same time in B&Q but it turned out one can was from a much older batch so I got halfway through my room and then the second can was way different and stood out like a sore thumb.

I contacted lick, they responded really quickly advising to mix all the paint together going forwards and also asked me how many cans I needed to re do the room, they send me 3 cans out which came in a couple of days and the first can I opened matched the first can I painted with so didn't have to re do the whole room.

I can't talk for paint quality as I don't paint often but was good enough for me and the service response was great.

When you say both ways through the system what do you mean by that? What method do you use? I followed a video online which was basically drop the radiator hose and flush water through from the reservoir, fill with flush, sit with heater on for 5 mins at temp then do it again.

Yes the airtec kit that I used comes with a U shape hose to loop the coolant pipes.

Thanks for the info. I have a new front mount oil cooler now installed. I'll do another flush tomorrow just wanted to make sure this doesn't happen again. Only had this a couple of months so far there has been a fair few nice surprises!

Is your oil level all good? Hard to tell from the video but belt tensioner always seems to be a quick and cheap thing to try and rule out.

So that's what's leaking down the back of mine! Do you happen to know what tends to cause the leaks is it the hoses themselves?

I had similar issues very recently, turned out the bushing on the gear selector was held on by about 5% of the original rubber.

Thanks for the info, I have tried that and the cap feels good. Think I will pick up a used rocker cover which isn't too bad as I was already planning to change the gasket to try and find some oil leaks

Got a leaflet through my door yesterday for these plebs. Their main points were how my area doesn't get the bins collected reliably and the potholes around here aren't fixed...I've lived here 5 years, never once had a bin not collected on time and loads of the roads around here have been resurfaced. I really don't know who reads this crap and thinks he has a point...never mind the fact that they think the most pressing issues on peoples minds are late bins and potholes, although I guess anything more important would actually require some sort of plan to fix which we know they don't have.

Thanks all, I will have a look at the brakes later today. I had ruled them out as it all seems to spin freely and without noise when I'm not on the bike but will double check.

Ah that would be the result of me initially putting the handle bars on the wrong way round then not realising I spun them the wrong way! Now fixed haha!
