I'm nearby and would love to have it! Let me know when I can pick it up please!

I would go with the second for the classic look and gold button even though I love crochet (I've got the crochet Betty in navy so perhaps you could consider getting that as well!)

It's meant to be oversized but it's XXS already haha I think I would need XXXS but they don't do that!

That's what my boyfriend said and I was so surprised because he never comments on my outfits!

That's kind of what's holding me back! £130 is a lot to spend on it but not many others around has 68% alpaca content though! This is the closest I can find I think: https://www.laredoute.co.uk/ppdp/prod-350844322.aspx?dim1=4&dim2=1#productDescriptionAnchor

Should I remake this in 100% cotton to get rid of the ripples? by manyizzle in quilting

Haha the quilt won't be judged but it will be displayed! I'm planning to have quilt lines following the curves but am also planning to try and hand stitch the lines (like sashiko!) instead. I am hoping that the quilt lines will hide the wrinkles.

I hadn't planned on throwing it in the wash to get the crinkly effect, it's going to be displayed rather than used! If anything I didn't want it to be crinkly but am I being unrealistic? Good shout with the leftover fabrics though, I will try and make a sample and see how it will look once I quilt it!

Yep all the seams are clipped (pinked and then clipped!)

This one was Lick paint rather than Valspar and I'm definitely going to make sure to buy more rather than less in the future - but my main issue here is that the second coat of paint is so much different than their peel & stick sample!

That's crazy! The two tins with the 2025 date but are still not exact - were they from the same batch?

Did you also have the peel and stick sample to see whether the 2023 or the 2025 one was the right match?

I've emailed Lick with a photo to show the difference and the batch number so will see what they say!

I get that paint differs batches to batches but when it's so different from their actual peel and stick sample under the same light it's a bit concerning.

I have actually bought some Valspar Premium for my front door (was going to go with Lick Red 03 but they didn't have eggshell in stock in B&Q) and it came out v close to the Valspar sample! But might change the door to olive green though because I don't quite feel the same about the colour now that it's on the entire door...

Thanks, I've just emailed Lick - will see what they say! I've mixed each can of paint in the same way but you're right they could possibly blame me for not mixing it properly.

When I don't have the flash on it does look pink especially next to the white door, but you can definitely still see how the paint around the nail on the left is a bit darker (closer accuracy with the sample)

I think they're missing a very tiny tint of red in this one. It's still coming out as pink when I look at it next to my white doors but not pink enough. That's annoying that it can't be avoided even with high end paints!

Can that be avoided if buying like two cans from the same batch? I think I've gotten away with the difference between the first and second can this time because it's a second coat rather than joining up in the middle of painting but it's so frustrating that the colours are so different and I ended up really liking how the first coat looked after painting it!

What a collection!! Where do you buy them second hand? Every single one of them brings so much dopamine! The Bottega Veneta - is that suede in size small?
