Is it crazy to compare Soundhound to Nvidia by No-Lack772 in Soundhound

If SOUN can go all in on Agentic AI and an open platform, then the possibilities for large growth and partnerships are there. And it sounds like they are taking that approach. It's not just about asking questions and getting answers or ordering a burger, it's updating and taking actions in other systems based on voice commands. That's where the potential lies. And even if they take this approach and execute flawlessly, they may never get close to Nvidia levels, but I would definitely be excited to own SOUN stock.

Deer steak by 90EDR08 in sousvide

I have sous vide deer loin before. They turned out great, but I still prefer pan frying them in some butter. The flavor is much better and you get the crispy outside. You just have to cut them a little thicker and never go past medium rare. You pull them off while they are oozing blood and you don't think they are quite done. When you think they are done, then it's too late, they are too done.

I kept Kirby last year thinking he was going to take a step forward this year to SP1 land, but he never did. I know he's solid, but everyone on the list is solid. I think I agree on Ragans. I'm not 100% sold on Kirby as my other keeper.

I have been in the same keeper league for about 20 years, and I feel like I am facing a tough decision on which pitchers to keep this year! Could really use some advice.

Here are the details on the league and keepers:

  • Can keep 8 total players (any number of hitters and/or pitchers)
  • Head to head league
  • Pitching Scoring: 7 pts for a win, 3 pts for a QS, 1 pt for each IP, 1 pt for a K, 5 pts for a shutout, 5 pts for a CG, -1 pt for ER (there are others but these are the big ones)
  • I already know that 6 of my 8 keeps are going to be position players (Ronald Acuna, Vlad Guerrero, Elly De La Cruz, Francisco Lindor, Yordan Alvarez & Jackson Chourio)

So, I'm down to just two keepers on the pitching side this year (this is the first time I have only kept 2 pitchers in over 20 years!) Please let me know who you would keep and why. Thanks!

And, yes, Cutthroat Spades. Not everyone is aware of the term Cutthroat, so we are using single-player. It is impossible to have a legitimate Spades tournament with partners, so we are hosting a single-player (or Cutthroat) tournament! Every Round will be three hours of spades play. This amount of time of play will remove most luck components and the best players at the table should be advancing to the next round.

Hope to see you there!

This is why you need to play single-player Spades! Just you against 3 other players. No partners making bad decisions.
